Founder of Sona Studio (Formerly Smal Creative)

Steve Marto has over six years experience as a graphic designer (in a leadership capacity) and over three years as a project/account manager with a focus on digital, social and branded content. His backgrounds in both the creative and client facing sides of the business have given him a great insight in understanding his clients’ needs and providing the most optimal solutions that serve both form and function.

Steve’s aesthetic philosophy is focused on the traditional principals of design opting for clean and simplistic composition where the message is at the core of the work. He is always looking to push the envelope by incorporating the latest trends and advancements in digital mediums into his work. He specializes in brand identity, illustration, user experience and web design and has formal post- secondary training in print design and production.

His work ethics, and results have been greatly exemplified by having worked on multi-dimensional projects, lead by a creative group of individuals, surrounding some of the most powerful brands in the world.
